[Dxbase] need help from a user with icom 706

[FireBrick]

I'm using a 706mkIIG
and a microhamKEYER USB interface

The response time seems slow, not like my normal ft1000mp.

If anyone is using this combo
Can you suggest baud rate settings?
should it be 1 stop bit or 2
what setting do you use for items 35 and 36 in the Set Mode options?

I found out that Icom always turns the filters off during a frequency change 
command.
that's dumb.

Anyone have any rig settings to suggest?
