I use the metric equivalent of 4 x 6 inch card mainly because my
choices are 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 and do not have the luxury of 3.5 x 5.5.
Using this size I have the choice of photo paper for glossy cards or
plain card stock for a generic card. SASE's from Europe are usually
big enough for this size however from the UK they are generally too
small. From the USA it is a mixed bag. Those who are really into
QSLing tend to use the International sized envelope that will hold
the 4 x 6 card where the casual user tends to use what ever is most
common at the local stationery store.
