Ten-Tec has announced the Omni-VII

control via Ethernet (TCP/IP).  Full control and streaming audio allow 
remote operation via the internet

With some gain antennas and WiFi 802-11b it would seem you could locate 
this in that quiet location you dream about and operate the rig from home!

Jack...I know you are frustrated by the limitations of the serial 
interface for rig control...this has the potential to remove those 
limitations.
