[Dxbase] Challenge Stats

While waiting to get a response concerning my problem (see below, in case
you missed the first posting) I have been trying to determine why DXBase
chose the calls it did. As I said when I stated the problem below, there is
nothing checked in either the Select or Award columns. So I thought maybe
DXBase chose that call because it was the first QSL for that country
received for that band, but that proved to be wrong. So at this point I'm
not sure what it is. Maybe it "flips a coin" and chooses any QSO that is on
that band for that country.

I have used the ARRL report to thin out my DXCC Award listing. Seems I had
a few extra checked that ARRL hadn't seen. These had been confirmed QSOs,
but had not been routed through ARRL yet. So I will get those cards together
and send them in with the next submission and change the check from Award to
Select.

I also used the DXBase report and compared it to the ARRL report (see below
for which reports) and found a number of differences between what DXBase
"chose" for a call and what ARRL has already given me credit for. The
DXBase report had extras because it included new QSLs that I have been
getting together since my last submission. I also was able to use the
DXBase report to determine other cards that still needed to be sent to ARRL.

The one thing I did notice is that for EVERY QSO that is different between
what the DXBase report says I should use and what ARRL has already given me
credit for is that in the DXBase report the "Confirmed" column has "No" in
it. Not sure what kind of a confirmed this is referring but that seems to
be the difference. I don't know if "Confirmed" that ARRL gave me credit for
is a "Yes" or "No" since those are not listed, but it appears to be
something worth looking at.

Subject: Challenge Stats

Last week in DXBase2007, I created the DXCC Award worksheet (excluding
previous submissions) and printed it out. I also logged in to LoTW\Awards
and printed out the Challenge Matrix that they have to show what calls they
have given me credit for. What I found was some differences between the two
reports and I wanted to eliminate those differences.

As an example, the DXBase worksheet said that I have 4C1AE as credit on 10M
for Mexico, but according to the matrix that I printed out from ARRL they
have given me credit for XE1OW on 10M. I checked and XE1OW has DXCC Award
column checked and 4C1AE has nothing in either the Select or Award columns
in the log checked.

So my question is what do I need to do in DXBase so that when I print out
the Award worksheet from now on it will show XE1OW instead of 4C1AE? I just
want the report produced by DXBase to match the ARRL matrix, ignoring new
QSLs that ARRL has yet to see of course.
