Hi again gang,
Thanks to those of you that have responded to my post. Here is some
additional information:
I am using ADSL via an ADTRAN NetVanta 344 DSL modem/router. I don't have
any trouble keeping this machine (HP Pavilion a375c running XP home)
connected to the internet, and I don't have to reset any hardware to get the
telnet cluster to come back up. I only have to close the current internet
cluster window and open a new one. The radio is upstairs (and not networked
in any way to the PC network) while this system is downstairs, and the
problem even happens during the day when I am away at work and not on the
air, so I don't think RFI is an issue. I am able to stay connected to the
cluster (the same cluster I get disconnected from in DXBase) on this same PC
via telnet with no problems. The keep alive timer is enabled and set to 15
minutes. Some clusters are better than others about how long they will stay
connected, but I seem to lose any of them within 4-5 hours.
Any ideas or tips would be appreciated!

Mike, K4GU
