[Dxbase] Summary window stops updating

I have been trying to get a handle on this for a while now.
There are some commonalities and please check these ideas out.
It seems these all contribute but are not the only symptoms that cause this.
I operate a lot of contests, it's seems more prevalent during peak contest cluster
situations.
I have been experimenting with different clusters and that seems to be a part of the
problem also.
Some cluster nodes are using older versions of the cluster software.
Some cluster software has added 'extended data' in the cluster message.
Some people are using Cluster manager software that then ports the data into DXBase. (I
do)
It appears that the format of the cluster info received by DXB effects how it's processed.
Because most of the nodes in the US Cluster system obtain the data from each other, a
software version that formats the cluster spot differently or adds some 'additional' data
to the string get sent along the pipeline where if it gets to DXB causes a glitch.
Now I do NOT know if my hypothesis is accurate but I can see different results by changing
certain parameters in my 'cluster data manager' program.
This doesn't seem to be a simple 'it's one thing' issue and it may take us cautiously
comparing symptoms to determine the cause.

Subject: [Dxbase] Summary window stops updating
I'm using DXbase 2006, and have recently noticed that the Summary window stops updating as
dx spots are received in the Internet Cluster window. Also, when I click on a any spot in
the Internet Cluster window, or in the DX info window, or any QSO in the log, the summary
window does not update.
This is happening even though I have not selected "Lock" in the Summary window. I have
tried closing and re-opening the Summary Window, and still have the same problem. The
only way I can make it stop happening is to close and restart DXbase.
Has anyone noticed the same problem? Did you find a fix for it?
Thanks, Tim - N3XX
