[Dxbase] DXBase and IC-7800

I have the same equipment plus a Steppir Beam and had similar 
problems to you and I must say it took some time to get the system to work.

What I have done is use the RS-232 input on the 7800 as the 
connection to the computer and therefore Dxbase and then linked the 
PW-1 and Steppir from the CI-V socket on the 7800.

This works consistently now but as you said it has to be at 4800.
