[Dxbase] problem reading rig frequency

DXBASE is unable to read the frequency from my Icon 756pro2. It has worked
in the past..

 

The frequency read is 356416.5 and the band is 75g for any rig frequency

I also use N1MM contest logger with the same configuration  and N1MM can set
and read the frequency  correctly

 

I am running DXBASE 2006

 The rig  is an Icon 756 pro 2

 I use the icon ct17 level converter for the serial port connection to the
rig

The rig is controlled via com3, nothing else on com 3 

The com settings are 1200, none, 8,2, DTR high

The rig is set to 1200 baud and 64h

DXBASE controls the rig frequency correctly

Disable the rig control in DXBASE setup and get the same result

Disconnect he serial cable, the band is set by software default
