[Dxbase] Rotor Control

I recently installed an Idiom Press rotor card in my Yaesu G-800-DXA rotor
controller. I use DXbase 2006 to provide azimuth instructions to the rotor
card. In the "User Options" sub-menu for "Rotor #1," when Yaesu is selected
as the rotor type, the rotor card does not respond to changes in azimuth. I
learned from Mike/W4UM, that by changing the rotor type to HYG DCU-1, even
though I am using a Yaesu rotor, the rotor card will recognize commands from
DXbase 2006. Has anyone else had a similar experience of DXbase either not
sending azimuth commands or sending incorrect azimuth commands to their
rotor?

After selecting HYG DCU-1 as the rotor type, the rotor card responds to
changes in azimuth, but occasionally the response is erratic. For example,
if the current azimuth is 270 degrees and a station at 90 degrees is
selected, the rotor will turn in a counter-clockwise direction rather than
clockwise.

Another symptom is no response to a change in azimuth. Occasionally there is
no response by the rotor card after double clicking the short or long path
in the DX Summary window or clicking one of the rotor control icons. It
appears that either DXbase did not send an azimuth change command or a
command was sent but not recognized by the rotor card.

Your comments and suggestions will be welcome, I would prefer not to change
logging programs.
