I would like to thank VE3WEJ, AL9A, W8TN, KQ0B, W4DUP, ND4V, and of course,
AA4LU for their timely assistance in getting DXBase 2006 back running on a new
 computer.

Now I have one remaining problem and that is getting the radio interface
back operating.

The radio is an ICOM 756PROII and the computer is a HP 3.2 mHz processor
using Windows XP.

My old computer ran on Windows ME and I was using a Belkin USB to serial
adaptor to interface the ICOM with no problems. For some reason I cannot get
the radio to interface.

In user Options under the Radio 1 tab I have tried to use every Com port
number listed with no luck. When I select Com 3 I DO NOT get the error message
that the radio failed to connect and this function will be turned off. When
I try any other com port I get the error message and the connect function to
the radio is in fact turned off.

It must be something simple but I cannot find it. I have been a DXBase user
since the initial release and I have never had this problem. Any thoughts
and assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
