Here are the directions on how I get DXBase 2006 to connect to the VE7CC
cluster program.
1. In DXBase, select File/Moidify Hosts File,
2. Go to the bottom of list of clusters. Click at the line below the
last line.
3. Click on the dotted square box.
4. Add the following
127.0.0.1:7300
5. In DXBase, select Tools/Options/User Options
6. Click on the Internet Tab
7. In the IP Host window, select the 127.0.0.1:7300 entry. You do not
need any login user name or password entry.
8. Run the VE7CC program and connect to your favorite cluster.
9. In DXBase, select Window/New Internet Cluster
10. Enjoy reliable cluster connections

> Hello .. Ive had problems staying connected also and just downloaded the ve7cc program. Can you tell me how to properly link it to dxbase? I cant seem to make it work but maybe i need to open a port on my host computer that connects the radio computer via a linksys router to the internet. So far the ve7cc program is staying connect though. My other question is the port number 7300 is that some thing the ve program does automatically or do i need to add that some where Any help is appreciated.
