I am sing Linksys with Speedstream 5100 DSL modem. I am gonna redo the connections and look for ferrites or beads for shielding. I know I have probs when I am 80m seems to get into the router or modem. Seems I do not experience as bad of a prob when I am not running a lot of watts out.

am a registered user so I should stay connected. Tried it on 2 different
PC's. Same problem. So it looks like my problem is with the router/modem.
Maybe I need to change a setting?

Simple test. Connect instead with the built in Windows telnet client, or
any telnet client, such as HyperTerminal and see what happens. I predict
you will have the same problems, but this would be a good test.
