Select one of the various DXBase Windows, such ad QSO Log so that it has
'focus'.
Select View>Styles
A menu opens with a list of field types.
Click on "Standard" down at the bottom of the choices.
Now here is the important part.
Now click on the Change>> button.
A stadard Windows style font selection window will open allowing you to
change font, Outline, Size, color etc.
Make your changes and click on 'OK'
Now here is the important part again.
You MUST put a check into the 'Save As Default' box for these changes to
become permanant for that DXBase window. If you check this box, your changes
will be remembered the next time you start DXBase.
I suggest you make a 'cheatsheet' of the settings prior to making any
changes.
As your changes may not be what you wanted, you can always go and change
them back or to different choices.
I have different backgrounds and font colors for each DXBase window.
Much more pleasing to the eye.
you can see my color choices and layout at
www.qsl.net/w9ol_dxb.jpg
And I welcome other users to put a pic of their layouts/colors on the web
for us to see.
Last time we did this, a couple of years ago, I saw some color combos I
liked better.
Happy Holidays to all!

Subject: [Dxbase] Upsizing the fonts for the DXbase windows on a Wide
ScreenLCD Monitor
Hello All:
Has anyone found a way to increase the font size of the various windows of
DXbase to better utilize the real-estate, and be more readable, on a wide
screen LCD Monitor? Using the Zoom feature on the View Menu is only
temporary and must be redone each time DXbase is started. Is there something
more permanent that can be done?
Thanks for the help.
73,
Mark, K7HPH
