A few versions back I mentioned that the Telnet interface had a
problem. At that time I mentioned that one would miss the log in
messages sent out, in my case it was AR-Cluster Nodes. I added a few
lines of *s on my node and that did allow the the login messages to be seen.
Acquiring the new CC-Cluster software I found that logging in I would
see "Please enter your callsign at the login prompt" followed on the
next line with "login:". At this point I was actually already
logged in. I went into Tools\options\User Options\Internet and
fooled around with Login Prompt and Host Prompt trying many different
ideas even leaving them blank. I all cases as long as my call was in
the USER Login, node connections to both AR-Cluster and
CC-Cluster was the same. Your program is not waiting for a prompt,
it just sends the call automatically.
Next item, your help screens on the Web and also software refer to
two Import files, one call Import and the other called DXB Import for
importing your old DXBase 2006 mdb file into the new. Took me awhile
to figure out that the file name is actually "ugdxbase".
