Tony,
On the main screen of DXBase, look over inbetween the "Sat" display and the
time display.
You should see what looks like a speaker. If the speaker is grey and not
yellow, click on it. Yellow ENABLES the sounds, and grey disables the
sounds.
Also make sure that in Tools menu, under personal options, that you look at
the TNC tab and ensure you have the announce DX Spots in Voice and Sound
Effects set up the way you want, as well as having the Bell and Needed
sounds picked out.

Subject: [Dxbase] 2006 - sounds
Installed 2006. Everything was working fine. So I uninstalled 2005. Now I do
not have any sounds for 2006 and I there is no selection of sounds in the
drop down menus. So it seems I lost the sounds when I uninstalled 2005. How
do I get the sounds back? Do I reinstall 2006? Is there an easier way?
Tnx
N2TK, Tony
