In conversations about LoTW, here are a few points to consider.
1. Probably your log contains qso's while using a number of different calls.
(I had my novice call, my Advanced call, and now my Vanity call)
Each of these callsigns requires that it be included in the .reg file that you obtain from
DXBase upon purchase/renewal.
2. Each call in your log must be in the Operator Callsign field during the proper date
timeframe.
3. Each call requires a separate LoTW certificate.
(I suggest the first certificate be requested using you present callsign)
(you can apply for additional callsign certificates using this credentials/certificate)
You will received these additional certs via email or download and they do not require
another postcard.
4. Each callsign qsos, require they be uploaded separately.
(I submitted my W9OL qso's first, then used the Wizard to select my WN9VOL qsos, and then
again to select my WA9VOL qso's)
Each of these was a separate upload.
So now all 150K q's, using all callsigns are on the LoTW database.
It's sounds complicated, and cumbersome but it really isn't.
Once you have that present call certificate, the software in LoTW and DXBase does all the
work.
Good luck. As the Nike Ad says..."Just Do It!"
