My impression is that those with CW keying problems are running XP.  I got
it to work OK if I were also running MMTTY, but I finally decided to go with
K1EL's Winkey due to its compatibility, configuration flexibility,
reliability, support, and reasonable cost. 

One of the many advantages of WinKey is the ability to compensate for radios
that shorten elements.  The speed can be controlled by a pot too.

Sounds like you have a software glitch in your computer.  No trouble with
the keyer here and I have MMTTY and several other RTTY programs installed.

Talk to some of the experts on the reflector.  The fix for that problem has
to be easy.
