Hi Folks,
I'm still making some cosmetic updates to our web site. But, we now have
DXbase 2006 available for download.
Upgrading to the new version is pretty simple. Just download and install
DXbase 2006 following the instructions provided. Order your new
registration from the sevure web order form. Your registration will be
returned as a .zip attachment in email after we process your request. Then,
to load your old QSO data into the new version, just run DXB Import.
We ended up with about 60 changes/enhancements which you can read about from
the main page of our web site. As time permits, I will make some comments
here on the reflector about some of them.
For those who wanted to be able to resize the Previous QSO and Pending Label
windows, you got it. For those who wanted the creation of a QSO field order
to be simpler and to be able to edit an existing field order, you got it.
For those who wanted a database backup module, you got it. For those who
wanted a built in compact/repair utility, you got it. For those who wanted
to be able to populate data from your address CD into all your existing
QSOs, you got that too.
For those who didn't want to see the VHF packet window when it it not
used... ya, you got it. Along with ability to have the internet cluster
window automatically open at program startup.
More to follow.... as time permits.
Thanks,
Tammy
PS... I just moved to Atlanta and have been working with Jack and company
for a while. There is a lot to learn about DXbase, Reflectors, web site
updates, etc... but I'm a fast learner... bear with me as I learn the
ropes... hahahaha!
