Charles,
What you are seeing is the way an ICOM radio's RS232 interface works in the
ICOM radio. DXbase is not turning on/off your filters. The radio is doing
that. You might check out the RS232 commands for that radio and see if they
have implemented any special command that would leave your filters alone.
If so, you could then modify the DXbase radios.ini to substitute that
command. Some folks in the past have experimented with that but I really
don't know if anyone has actually modified the radios.ini file for this.
Since you haven't seen any posts to your question, I assume no one has ended
up with a workable solution for this behavior in the ICOM radios.
