I USED to use a Byterunner.
I can't remember the exact model. I did use it on a windows xp machine and I had to get a
revised driver from Byterunner.
The guy at Byterunner was very helpful.
I had the eight port I think....
But it did have a little work to get the various port assignments correct with the correct
settings.
I might suggest, a much simpler choice.
I've had VERY good luck with SIIG multiport cards.....
The drivers are very easy to install.
And ...they are very cheap on eBay.
