Eric, I'm using DXBase 2006 with the microHam keyer with the latest (V. 2.0) router software and firmware upgrades. I believe my keyer has the v. 9 K1EL keyer chip in it. Works great with the Omni 6 here for CW. I wonder if you have external power (13.8V) hooked up to your microKeyer? 73, Chuck NI0C
