To not change a date/time that you entered when saving a QSO (i.e.,
entering past log's data), you have to turn off the automatic time/date
update. You get to this with the following:
Click Tools/Options/User Options
Click the Log Defaults tab
In the lower right hand corner, make sure that the box option 'Change
Date/Time when saving QSO' is unchecked. Click your change. Close Dxbase
and reopen Dxbase (this last step is a habit).

Jim,
I am at work and don't have Dxbase 2005 on the work computer (darn, I'm
suppose to work). If you look up in Dxbase Help menu, you will find a user
set up option to do exactly what you are asking for...it is designed
in....you just have to engage it.
