I also operate some of the state QSO parties and even the county hunters contest.  I operate mobile, so I am changing counties.  There isn't a field in DxBase to say what county that I am operating from.  I believe that MYCNTY is a static variable, in that it doesn't change from QSO to QSO.  That would be a nice addition to the log.
