[Dxbase] log cluster spot and update w/Time & Rig

I have 3 questions related to logging a cluster spot, updating time and rig frequency and doing this by hitting 3 function keys or other key combinations:

1) I would like to log a current cluster spot by programming a function key.  Can I do this with a function key or other key combination?

2) I would like to be able to update current time in the above log entry by programming a function key.  Can I do this with a function key or other key combination?

3) I would like to be able to update the log to my rig's current frequency including VFO B in the Notes section of the log by programming a function key.  I don't like the multi-step process of hitting Alt-Q, hit Retrieve, then hit QSY.  Can I do this with a function key or other key combination?

I'd like to be able to do the above by either highlighting a cluster spot or logging the most current spot.  I could not find a way to do this in the menu choices in the "Tools/Shortcuts...." menu.  This seems basic to me.  What am I missing?  

I also find that updating rig frequency by right clicking on frequency field and choosing "Reload Radio" is a hit and miss.  Sometimes right clicking doesn't bring up the menu, sometimes it does.  Sometimes you get the menu but the choice doesn't update the frequency; sometimes it does.  I've noticed this  peculiarity for years with different rigs and computers.  What am I doing wrong?
