[Dxbase] DXB2005 using XP

I'm a bit confused.
You installed 05 on a Dell.   Did it work?

Why are you trying to update MDB files from the CD?
MDB files are created when you do the install procedure.
The CD installs the default.mdb and a W4DUP.mdb.
You can't copy them from the CD.

Or am I not understanding something.

I installed DXB2005 on a Dell running XP. Downloaded from a CD to update my MDB files so
some files are read only.  Properties on DXB2005 show it's Read Only.  I go thru the
ritual to remove the read only attribute but when I look at the attributes again it's
still read only.  I think I'm learning to hate XP aready.  Anybody know what I need to do
to change the attribute?
