[DXBase] Problem with Unwanted Alerts

I have been having a problem with "Alerts" with DXbase 2004 - maybe someone
had this problem and has solved it.  Here's what happens:  I  get spots for
band countries that I need but I often get spots for band countries that I
have worked or confirmed.  Also, if I uncheck a band (like 160, 80, 40
during the day) so I won't spots, they still come through.  My HF Numerical
Statistics are up to date.  Global QSL Filter is set as "Not Worked" -
Global Category Filter is set to "New Mode or New Band" - Individual
Band/Mode Filter" is checked for "CW" and "PHONE" for all bands, 6 through
160 (except 30 is only checked for CW, of course).  Any thoughts as to what
