[DXBase] Ft-857

Yea... I've checked and double checked... And it does work... Most of the
time... Still trying to figure out what makes it stop working... I just
plugged it into my main computer tonight and just got it to work.  So, I'll
see how long it takes to stop working... or if it does... This computer is a
XP machine 2.6Ghz... The other was a 98 machine... 450Mhz... Maybe there was
an intermittent IRQ conflict or something on the old one... We will see.

Hi Brent, Josh,

I assume you know that the default baudrate for
that radio is 4800 (though it can be menu changed)
and it requires Work Length = 8, Parity = NONE and
Stop Bits = 2.  If it's like my FT-1000MP Field
you might try checking the DTR High and RTS High
boxes.  Good luck,
