I haven't seen the commands reference for the 746pro but if I had to hazard 
a guess I would think the 756pro2 file would be pretty close to the mark.

to get this to work with the 746pro you will need to set the 746pro in the 
radio's settings menu to the same CI-V address as the pro2 (64h) while you 
are in that menu set it to 19200 Baud rate. Turn off CI-V transceive unless 
you really need this function, most of us don't

then tell Dxbase2004 that you have a 756pro2 8bits no parity 1 stop bit 
19200 Baud. DTR high (& possibly RTS high too) if your interface isn't the 
original Icom CT17

See if this works, if it doesn't can you scan the couple of pages relating 
to radio commands form the 746pro manual and E-mail them to me so that I 
can take a look.
