[DXBase] RE Dxbase 204/756Pro freq. logging prob: ANYONE USING 2004 W/ a 756Pro????

I am using a PRO2 with DXB2004 with no problems whatsoever I have also in 
the past used a pro without problems. I also run DXatlas
I use win2k pro SP4

can you let us know all your radio port settings please.

One other thing, the pro series can be set to autobaud which means that 
they will take the speed of the first program to 'talk ' to the radio. also 
during bootup XP has a nasty habit of looking for mice on all ports which 
can confuse things like radios

do you have any other serial port software installed (E.g digital camera, 
PDA etc) that might be interfering with ports.
can you try a different com port?


what is the spec of the machine ?

try right clicking on 'my computer' select properties, select 
advanced,select performance and change from applications to background 
services (or from background services to applications) . Does this make a 
difference ?
