Thanks, Dale, but no go. I use DxAtlas, but it's discconnected, and I went
into Tools/Options/User Options/General and checked "None" for DxAtlas there.
Still get the prob, get the "hash" number!!

have almost exactly the same problem here. I have a 756 Pro, DxBase
2004,
Windows XP home edition.

It was happening intermittently for me. I traced it down to having DxAtlas
connected
through the DX Info window. When ever DxAtlas was connected I got the
error.
When I disconnected DXAtlas in the DX Info window the error stopped.

None of the suggestions I got for remedies from the reflector worked. Now
if I want
to use DXAtlas through the DX Info window I connect and disconnect each
time
I look at it. Kind of a pain in the butt. Fortunately I don't use the
DXAtlas all that much.
None-the-less it would be nice to resolve it.

Maybe now that a second person has reported the problem Jack and crew will
work on it.
