Sci. Solutions has not been able to help. They suggested the reflector.

Here is the problem:

I recently upgraded from Dxbase 2003 to the 2004 version (via a CD shipped t=
o=20
me). I have been using v.2003 with my Icom 756Pro for over 18 months with n=
o=20
problems. I run Win XP Pro. As soon as I installed and used v.2004, I foun=
d=20
that I COULD NOT log the frequency from the transceiver. I get a hash numbe=
r=20
(316416.56) for the freq., and "75G" in the "Band" column every time,=20
regardless of the actual settings. I COULD QSY and change mode from within=
 the 2004=20
program, and with other control software that I own. =20

I checked the program settings for the IC 756 Pro and they are correct =E2=
=80=93=20
identical to those used in my v. 2003. I then ran Dxbase 2003, which I reta=
ined=20
on my hard drive, and found that it WORKED PERFECTLY (as before) and logged=
=20
freq. and band correctly.

Upon Jim's suggestion, I chnaged the name of the radios.ini in v.2004 and=20
pasted in the radios.ini from v2003, which works perfectly. No change!

Given the above, I know that a) my transceiver works and communicates=20
properly; and b) that nothing is wrong with my computer and interface cable.=
 =20

Any one else out there with a 756Pro having (or not having) this prob? =20

Help, PLS.
