I gave that a try a few years ago Dean.
Too many hoops to jump through.
After playing with it for quite a while I finally packed it in.
I now use ARuser by VE7CC on his site.
It's free, REAL EASY to link to DXBASE.
Two mouse clicks is all it takes.
Has fantastic filtering options.

Subject: [Dxbase] Using DX Telnet Within DX Base
I know I've seen the detailed instructions somewhere but I simply can't find them.
I'm trying to use DX Telnet (a DX spotting program written by Fab, from Italy) within DX
Base 2005 to receive spots via an internal Telnet connection within my PC (uses the host
file 127.0.0.1) as the source of the spots.
Well, in any case, I've searched the DX Base 2005 help file and can't find it and also the
DX Base website and can't find it.
Any suggestions on where to look??
Merry Christmas and 73,
Dean, K4EQQ
