If I understand you correctly I don't think this
would be a good idea unless it is a switchable
option.  For one thing the DX Summary is affected
by almost every window in DXBase (Log,
packet/interent spots, Previous QSOs).

Yes it is filtered but I find it useful to check
for many things of interest that I am currently
not filtering for.  I constantly use the Summary
window.  We already have the Cluster window's
flags and the Spots window's spots to tell me what
I need.  I also might temporarily change my alerts
for a particular reason (like an all-time new one
that I don't want to get lost in band-country
spots) so I still want to see all spots affect the
Summary window.  But as a switchable option it
would be ok.
