I have been running Windows XP Pro since I participated in Microsoft's =
beta
program for it; that's approximately three plus years now. I have also =
been
running Dxbase with it during this time
Also, I have been running the XP built in time synchronizer in all that
time. I have not seen this 'feature' of Windows XP Pro causing any =
problems
with Dxbase.
Any chance that your time in the operating system was changed by another
means?

Subject: [DXBase] Eastern Standard Time & Windows XP
I just encountered a serious (IMO) Time problem with Windows XP and =
DXBase.
I have Windows XP set to Automatically synchronize with an Internet time
server. I had it set to time.windows.com. It apparently synchronized
around 5 pm and switch to Eastern Standard Time. My log changed by 1 =
hour
and I didn't notice when this happened. I changed to time.nist.gov and =
my
clock went back to Eastern Daylight Time. BTW the local time displayed =
by
my computer never changed. Anyone else notice this potentially serious
problem? It could result in lots of N.I.L. QSLs.
