[DXBase] 2 Questions

Hello All

I have been using Dx base for a number of years but until recently I never
tried to do this and I don't know how.  I would like to shut the DX audio
announcement off but keep the alert sound that signals you that a new band
mode has been spotted.  I don't want to hear the DX spot call sign and
frequency.

One other question can I compact the data base using Office 97 package that
has Access 97.
