One thing I forgot to mention is that I have a cable modem connection that
is always great and fast!

Yes I do. As stated in my original in item 3. And the host that I select
wasn't originally there with the required URL. I edited and added it. In
fact before I edited it my DXB2003 wouldn't work but now it does again.

No I cannot open any other cluster in 2004 but I can in 2003. And no, none
of the ones I've tried require a port setting.

I have tried the following and they work in 2003 and not in 2004

Nope it didn't. Thanks anyway.
A couple of other points. Remember I get an immediate error message. And
this shouldn't matter but I did not install DXBase 2003 or 2004 in the
default directory. I installed them in:
C:\Amateur Radio\DXBase 2003
and
C:\Amateur Radio\DXBase 2004
