[DXBase] internet cluster window

I just tested W98SE as follows:

Started DXB2004 and via telnet connected to a cluster.  I started the system
monitor program.  You can find it at: Programs/Accessories/System
Tools/System Monitor.  That program indicates how busy your processor is at
the moment.

It showed a very low value, a few percent.  Then I pulled the ethernet cable
from the computer, the CPU usage went to 100%.  I cancelled DXB2004, the
usage dropped to next to nothing and stayed there.

I reattached the ethernet cable to the computer, and using the built in
Windows telnet program I connected to the cluster.  The CPU utilization was
just a few percent.  I pulled the ethernet cable, the usage stayed at a low
value.

I have tried other telent clients, none of them exhibit the 100% CPU
utilization problem.

Stu, have you tested using the System Monitor so you can see actual CPU
utilization?

The problem exists with DXBase2002/2003/2004 and Windows 98, ME, 2000.  I
have not tested it with XP, but I believe others have reported the problem
there as well.

I can live with it, but its long past the time when it should be fixed.
