Ah ha.  That's your problem, you're not using the "new and improved,
super-stable" WinXP.  See XP is so stable that it prints the same thing
twice even though you've changed the parameters.

On my desktop, using the "new and improved" WinXP I have the problem.  On
the old laptop using Win98SE I don't have the problem.  

And you're the folks that tell me I should be continually upgrading my
hardware and operating system (and logging program;) to the lastest and
greatest.  I rest my case for resisting.<G>
