I did it!
But...
I don't know how or why.
I had the latest Host file, in the proper directory.
I deleted it.
And then made my own, brand new, by copy pasting my Access file of clusters
into a new Notepad file and naming it HOSTS.
Saving into the proper directory.
When I did this, it DID NOT put any spaces or tab characters between the IP
and the #character.
Could I have introduced some sort of editing mark that was unseen but
appeared as a improper character to the DXBase telnet program? Maybe a
formatting character???
Using notepad, that shouldn't have happened but it's the only explanation I
can come up with. The DXB Hosts file should be a normal ASCII format isn't
it???
