[DXBase] Deleted countries and new prefixes

I am curious how DXbase treats deleted countries in coming up with totals
for DXCC, etc.  For example, AC4/AC5A was Tibet, now no longer but does
count on the deleted countries list I believe.  When logged it shows up as
"K" for country status.  Now DXBase converted on entry of AC4/AC5A to A5
which is the current prefix.  Are these counted twice?  Once as deleted and
now A5?

I am entering all of my old QSO/QSL(s) into the DXBase in an attempt to
organize this mess!
