[DXBase] problem deleting items from QSO Label file

I discovered that if I delete an QSO record from the QSO Label file (perhaps I entered the item into database accidently or changed my mind and now don't want to print a label for that QSO), that particular QSO is still listed as having a QSL Sent with a QSL Sent date assigned in QSO Log.

Is this the way DX Base 2002 is supposed to work or did I set a parameter incorrectly?  I have reviewed the Help files without finding this particular issue addressed.
