[DXBase] Another import question

I use a slow, limited capability laptop at the operating position for
initial logging.
The qsling and awards tracking is done on my desktop. I use a LAN to pass
data between computers and do an import from laptop to desktop and when I'm
sure all is well, I compact the log.mdb and copy it back to the laptop and
zip it and send it to my ISP/homepage for offsite backup.
Last night during a lull in the CW contest, I did some bookkeeping on the
laptop; entering in some qsls received yesterday. For instance JT1/K4ZW
for 80 meters.
I just did my import to the desktop, initialized tables and took a look at
stats for 80 meters. It still shows JT worked but not confirmed. Further
checking reveals that for the newly entered qsls the stats did not change;
the "CFM" box is not checked.
Shouldn't "CFM" be a parameter that should be passed along during an
import? or am I missin' sumpthin'?

ps. In troubleshooting this, I took a look (using Access) at the
refdat.mdb and noted that the packet spots table has a bunch of stuff in
it. I have never been on packet in my life, where did this come from?
