Hello all,
I hope I can make my remarks here not offending anyone but after =
exessive test drive my remarks :
Dxbase 2003 offers a lot, maybe to much, BUT :
1) no test or evaluation period without paying 100 bucks
2) TS2000 rig control lacks and enoys me a lot.
3) QSL printing seems to be top but hard to get it going even with =
reading help files.
4) QSL labeling is rather unusefull for me to. I have to sort out all =
qsl every month.
5) CW keying never worked, following all tips, hints, etc...
When I sum it up, I spent 100 us dollars for yet again a logging program =
without having the possibility to test it before purchase. good lesson, =
because I can't use the program like I want it to.
I will follow up on things in the hope the future will make it possible =
to change things forfilling my needs.
I feel dx4win still is IMHO the closest I can get to work my logs.
This is a peronal opinon and I'm not saying DXBase is no great logging =
program.
I'm also awaiting the announced (free) logger32 that will arrive around =
X-mas time.
The last few months's I lost QSL track, had to manually make a lot of =
changes, many wasted hours.
To bad ...
Happy holiday season greetings to all.
