I don.t know what you are doing. I have been using Dx4Win for over 20 years.
It was version 6 when I first started using it. My current version of Dx4Win
is 9.09.1259. The last time it was updated on March 11, 2026. It gets
updated at least once a month.
I wouldn't give up Dx4Win for any logging program.
Good luck.

I still use DX4WIN ...going on.....I lost track, over 30 years probably? IN
ADDITION, I use Ham Radio Deluxe. I have HRD talking to DX4WIN through a
3rd party virtual serial port (using VSPE). I had to tell DX4WIN to use
Kenwood CAT commands (even though my radio is a Yaesu FTDX101D).....because
My research showed me that's the CAT commands HRD uses exclusively. To get
DX4WIN and HRD working, it had to be Kenwood CAT commands. So DX4WIN and
HRD are in sync....I can control the radio thru HRD....or thru
DX4WIN....and I log in both. I also have HDSDR running in synch with HRD
Using DDE. That gives me a 2nd more granular Bandscope than the one on the
101D (using the IF out of the radio and an SDRPlay RSP1A SDR). So
Everything works/talks to each other....the 101D....the DX4WIN...the
HDSDR....the HRD. And YES, I still like DX4WIN because it has more
Granularity for the DX cluster and spot alerts than HRD does. That's why I
Haven't given up DX4WIN ....yet....after all these decades!
Yes, I really do wish they would come out with a new version or upgraded
Features....but I've come to accept that likely isn't going to happen. And
So...I use both HRD and DX4WIN.............
