That's weird Max,
I have a IC- 7300 here not the MK2 but don't think 
The max freq goes higher compared to the old one.
Try the one attached here

Hello everyone,
Does a IC-7300MK2 radio definition file exist somewhere?
I just connected the new radio via the USB interface using the original
7300 file definition.
The radio accept the commands with no issues but the frequency reading is
somehow corrupted.
The radio is on 21.011.000, the Radio Frequency control window/Main
frequency shows 2066,561.58
