[Dx4win] DX4WIN QSO count vs LOTW QSO count

Since the IOTA Contest I have been searching for an answer that I can't seem to find concerning matching DX4WIN contacts counts to LOTW counts.
At the end of the IOTA contest using the N1MM contest logger I downloaded the contest ADIF file and saved it on a USB drive. I then used Jim AD1C excellent conversion program ADIF2DXQ to produce a .dxq. file on the same USB drive. I then uploaded this k7aczIOTA.dxq file into DX4WIN using the instructions Jim provides on dx4win.ad1c.us/adif2dxq/index. I made only 93 contacts (I was S&P and called only IOTA stations). Before the upload I had 65921 Q's logged in DX4WIN, after the upload I had 66,014 Q's in DX4WIN, So far so good. I then went to my PC I use for FT8 and converted its current FT8 ADIF file of 199 FT8 QSO's file to a dxq.file and uploaded that file into DX4WIN also. I now have a total of 66213 QSO's in DX4WIN.

Now I want to upload these new QSO's (IOTA and FT8) into LOTW. Using Jim's excellent dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes.lotw.html instructions I downloaded a LOTW ADIF file using LOTW>EXPORT to LOTW from DX4WIN. I then uploaded these new since last upload 292 QSO's into LOTW no problem. OP NOTE: I also use this same LOTW ADIF file to update my QSO's in CLUBLOG and my QRZ.COM log page. This LOTW ADIF upload file works fine for this purpose with no changes.

Now just for the heck of it I was on my LOTW page and was checking how many of my IOTA contest QSO's were confirmed already. Note of concern, if you are on an IOTA, PLEASE add the IOTA number to your info/data submitted to the ARRL LOTW people so we can get IOTA contact credit via LOTW. As far as I know if I have an IOTA contact confirmed by LOTW BUT the IOTA station did not provide his IOTA number in his LOTW data then the RSGB IOTA people will not accept it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

While doing this I just happened to note in the You have xxxxxx QSO records line it showed I had 66,644 QSO records, But DX4WIN shows I have 66213 Q's logged in DX4WIN, a difference of 431 QSO's. Why do I have more Q's in LOTW than in DX4WIN. I think I saw somewhere that there is some sort of a way to compare LOTW vs DX4WIN, but I cannot find it. Where/what are these missing 431 QSO's?

Thank you for any advice/assistance/insight you may provide
