The only thing that I can think of is that you're using a different font on
your new machine -- or perhaps you'd installed a special all-caps font on
your old machine. Also, I think some fonts might have a "small caps" option
will will cause everything to be in caps, though "lower case" caps will be
the upper-case version of the letter but smaller.

If you still have your old machine, go to File->Preferences then check the
Screen tab and compare the settings.

Good luck!

Subject: [Dx4win] Kind of a strange question about DX4WIN

Recently, after changing computers (to get one with Windows 11), I noticed
when I loaded DX4WIN.....now, when I go to type comments in the QSO "Notes
for this QSO" or "Notes for the Call" Fields, the letters I'm typing now are
all LOWER CASE. For the past 20+ years, when I ran all the different
versions of DX4WIN I've run in past years....including 9.09 most recently,
on my Windows 10 machine.....anything I typed in those two Fields were
ALWAYS automatically ALL UPPER CASE (all CAPS). I liked it that way.

Now, it's always lower case. Of course, I know I can press the CAPS key on
my keyboard and then type all upper case.....but I'm looking for a setting
somewhere that will make it AUTOMATICALLY be upper case....like it was for
the last 20+ years on my Windows 10 machine.

Is there a setting somewhere to change that? I looked in the Config file for
a setting somewhere, but I didn't see one. Again, for 20+ years running all
versions in Windows 10....it was ALWAYS automatically upper case in those
two Fields. Can anyone help me get it back to that way on my new Windows 11
machine? Again, thinking it's a setting I don't know about........
