Thanks Tim.

I have version 9.09.1259. After some back and forth I find I do have the FTDX101 rig file at the 101 station. But not at the 890 station. However, I have no recollection of how I got it. ( I got my first 101 6 years ago ) I did download the 890 file from Jim's list ( I didn't realize or remember he was also doing the rig files ) but how do I add it to the choices that show up in the program?

It's rather a moot point now since I finally managed to get the 890 working at 115,200 using the 870 file. Or at least working for all I need which is for it to read the band. But it would be nice to have the right file in there if I ever did want any other functions to work.

For most radio files for DX4WIN the most current version is usually found in the actual software (currently 9.09). Hope this helps. But there are radio files for 101D, 890 and 7610. No doubt many others are using the 7610 and 890....just like I'm using the 101D. BTW, the 101D and 101MP are listed as Yaesu FTDX101 under the Preferences in the current software.
