[Dx4win] DX4Win with virtual port link to Win4Yaesu suite

I have a Yaesu FTdx5000 and am using the Win4Yaesu suite to control it.  
I have two virtual com ports set up with Com-0-Com. This has been 
working for many years with one virtual port being used by DX4Win and 
the other by JTDX.    Last week the virtual port used by DX4Win stopped 
working (I get the re-try delay and then the Radio timed out/ Radio 
interface disabled message)  but the other one used by JTDX still works 
correctly.

I had a third com port pair already set up for future use so tried that 
which did not work either.

I have deleted the non-working pairs,  did a restart, respecified the 
com port pairs - did another restart,  and that did not work either.

I have not made any changes to Win4Yaesu suite or DX4Win recently.   It 
seem very strange that one pair works as expected but the others don't.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
