And related to this, you can go to File>Preferences>Packet1> half way down
that page/window...on the left side...."Age for Spots (min)" and then under
that....for "Spots" ....you can set a time so that any spots older than
that time are deleted when you do the "Delete Old Spots" from the DX Spots
window (as mentioned before by Mike/W0VTT). You'll see the minimum time you
have set in parenthesis next to the command in the DX Spot window . So at
least that way, when you start up DX4WIN, if you do a "Delete old spots",
it would only delete OLD spots....and no new ones that came up since you
started the Program back up....assuming you don't set it for some
ridiculously short time......like a couple of minutes! I have mine set for
60 minutes. I don't care about spots over 60 minutes old. You might prefer
some other time/setting/amount. I know you can set it as short as 1 minute.
I'm not sure what the maximum time is you could set it for.
